Terry is discussing asking for help from colleagues, mentors, or other professionals in your network.
It's not a taking activity, it's a giving activity. If you do it well, you're actually being giving to the people you ask.
You actually end up, when you ask someone for help while you've done your homework, you're thoughtful, they want to help you even more. They become invested in you.
My core philosophy in life is that everybody wants something. And most of the time it's not something you have to give, or you can connect them to. But, if it is something that you have to give, or you can connect them to, it's criminal not to, actually.
You do two coffees a week and literally just ask me two hours a week, everyone has two hours a week, it'll start compounding over overtime.
