The obvious strategy for a growth person is, 'Let's make a bunch of automated spam and spam Reddit all over the place.' That's the growth mindset, which makes sense, the hustle mindset. Fortunately, that doesn't work very well.

RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) is an AI technique that retrieves relevant information from a database to help generate more accurate responses.

What if you feed derivatives into the RAG piece? Generate 10 derivatives, put that into RAG, summarize that. What happens is there's a wisdom of the crowd. You essentially converge on one opinion. You'll basically take the wisdom of the crowd and that will shrink and you'll have a single opinion on everything, which is really bad.

In order to win something like what's the best website builder? At Google, they would win if their blue link showed up first. But that's not the case in the LLM, because the LLM is summarizing many citations, and so you need to get mentioned as many times as possible.

"They" refers to leads from AI chatbots like ChatGPT. LLM traffic means visitors from AI search engines versus traditional Google search results.

They are significantly more valuable. So Webflow, we saw a 6X conversion rate difference between LLM traffic and Google Search traffic.

Most best practices, most blog posts are not correct. So how do you set up an experiment? You get your questions, you turn tracking on, give it a couple of weeks. Make your changes, have a test group, have a control group.
