One email will never do anything. If you're going to go into email, please think about it as a series about communication, about how it interacts with product communication.
Growth is a system, not a collection of tactics
Growth → Activation & Onboarding
In order to change behavior, you have to pick a behavior that you want to change. So companies are really good at outcomes, but just not as sharp at picking the behavior.
Onboarding is the only part of your product experience that a hundred percent of people are ever going to touch. Good luck getting a hundred percent feature adoption of anything else in your product, right?
"Those flows" refers to user signup and onboarding processes; "that person" refers to new users going through the signup experience.
The amount of impact by just nailing those flows has never ceased to amaze me and setting up that person for long-term success. So monetary friction. Then just really good onboarding, personalization, a well of opportunities there.
